WARRIORS COME OUT AND PLAY!!!!!

The countdown to our Alumni Reunion is drawing closer so we would like to get out our final plans for the weekend:

Date: Friday August 7th: The Meridian Firefighters Annual Salmon BBQ
Time: 6:00pm-10:00pm
Location: Meridian Speedway 335 S. Main St. Meridian Idaho
Cost: $15.00pp tickets available at the Alumni tent the night of the event. Beer bracelets $10.00pp available at the Alumni tent. Pop and water are provided with the Salmon dinner.

Date: Friday August 7th Muggsys Bar and Grill
Time: 10:00pm – 2:00am
Location: 501 S. Main St. Meridian, Idaho
Cost: No cover but there will be drink specials all night and the music will be pumpin’ some our favorite tunes from the 80’s and more.

Date: Saturday August 8th Settlers Park
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Corner of Meridian Rd. and Ustick Rd.
Cost: 0 Please bring a picnic lunch, chairs, blankets and umbrellas if you have them. We will provide some shade. This park has a wonderful water area for kids, huge playground, tennis courts, horseshoes, and baseball and basketball areas. This will be a great time for you to bring your kids and/or grandkids and have a fun day at the park. We are hoping to have the opportunity to offer you a chance to tour the new updated football stadium at the high school during this time but those plans have not been confirmed.

Saturday afternoon is yours to explore the valley, sleep, float the river, Beerfest at Julia Davis Park, golf, Bam Jam downtown Boise, catch up with family or just chill!

We have nothing formal planned for Saturday night however there will be a large group of MHS Alumni celebrating at the Doubletree Hotel Riverside (same location as the 10th and 20th) 2900 W. Chinden Blvd. Garden City, Idaho. (208)343-1871. They will reserve rooms at $52.00 per night and Club Max will have a DJ for dancing the night away!!

Classes of '83-'84-'85 Multi Year Reunion - Summer 2009

As many of you know, we attempted to have a 25 year reunion last summer but it unfortunately didn't happen as many of us had hoped!   The class of 1984 felt sorry for us and decided to include us in their 25 year blow out.   This is a good thing, because while our class was busy winning state championships - the class of 1984 was busy developing some serious party and social skills.

So mark your calendars for Friday August 7th.  We will be gathering at the Annual Salmon BBQ put on by the Meridian Fire Department at the Meridian Speedway.  There will be a tent for us this year so we can all find each other!   We are also trying to pull something fun together for Saturday night - so stay tuned for more details. We are using Facebook to find people and get the word out, so if you are on Facebook find a classmate and make sure you get the link to the events that are being planned.  In addition, tell all of your friends that are not on Facebook or who are still refusing to join the 21st century and get on a computer that if they want information they need to contact someone if they want to know when and where we are all getting together.
